Now, the specs of the Galaxy S10 Lite have surfaced in Germany, and with them comes news that this model will become official in the next few days.
Leaked Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite Specs
According to the report, we are to expect a 6.7-inch 1080×2400 Super AMOLED touchscreen with 20:9 aspect ratio and a centered hole-punch for the selfie cam. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset will be in charge, in all regions including Europe – unlike what happened with the S10 and S10+ which had Exynos chips in that region and others.
The processor will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD card of up to 1TB capacity.
As far as camera is concerned, the main rear sensor will be a 48 MP f/2.0 camera with OIS. It’s not just any OIS, though, for this is something called “tilt-OIS”, which Samsung will market as “tOIS”. It allows the lens in front of the camera sensor to tilt a few degrees in different directions to compensate for your hand’s movements, in addition to the usual OIS technology.
Alongide the main rear sensor, there will be a 12 MP ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5 MP dedicated macro snapper with f/2.4 aperture. For selfie, there’s a 32 MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The phone will run on Android 10 based on Samsung’s new One UI 2.0.
The S10 Lite has a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, and even with all of that capacity the handset will be 8.1mm thin.
Leaked Galaxy S10 Lite Price
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will come in black, white, and blue, and it will have a price tag of €679.99 (give or take 10 euros depending on specific country, because of differences in taxes).
That’s cheaper than the S10e’s debut pricing of €749.99, although that variant has in the meantime become much more affordable than that through various deals and price cuts.
