During the Redmi Note 8/Pro smartphone launch in India few days ago, Xiaomi shared a list of devices that will get the latest version of its MIUI 11 stable update in India. While the tentative list has a total of 28 devices, Xiaomi has beat its schedule-timeline, as the MIUI stable update is now rolling out to a number of Xiaomi/Redmi smartphones.
The firm has released the MIUI 11 stable update for the first batch of devices – a total of 12 Xiaomi smartphones. The phones are;
- Xiaomi Mi 9SE
- Mi MIX 3,
- Mi MIX2S
- Xiaomi Mi 8,
- Mi 8 youth version
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition
- Mi 8 under-display fingerprint Edition
- Xiaomi Mi 8SE
- Mi Max 3
- Redmi K20
- RedmiNote 7 Pro
- Redmi 7.
If you own any of these devices, then you can expect the MIUI11 stable update to hit your device in the coming days via OTA. Otherwise, you check out the update manually via settings – My Device – MIUI version detection, support direct upgrade from MIUI 8, MIUI 9, MIUI 10 stable version to MIUI 11.
With the first batch of the update now out of the way, Xiaomi has also assured that popular models such as Xiaomi 9, and the RedmiK20 Pro will soon get the MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.
