Barely after six months of the Realme 3 Pro was unveiled, the company has announced the new Realme 5 series in India. The series includes the Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro. Now, this won’t go down very well with owners of the Realme 3 series but this vert move from the company seems to be a product of the hyper-competitive nature of the Indian and other developing markets.

Realme 5 Pro
The Realme 5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 712 SoC which is a marginally improved version of the Realme 3 Pro’s Snapdragon 710. The highlight though will be the quad-cameras.
There’s a 48MP primary sensor, a 119-degree ultra-wide sensor, a depth sensor, and a macro lens. The front has a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. It is powered by a 4,035mAh battery and VOOC 3.0. That’ pretty much the only big upgrade for the series. It comes in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple.
Realme also said that it will announce more details about the 64MP Realme XT in September
