As promised, Xiaomi has in Beijing unveiled the first two models of the CC series and nothing surprising erupted The two devices – dubbed Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e pack AMOLED displays made by Samsung, an impressive set of in-display fingerprint scanners each, along with triple cameras with a main 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture.
The other two lenses consist of an 8-megapixel 118° ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera from Samsung for better low-light images and AI beautify mode.

Xiaomi Mi CC9e
Aside the original version, the second device in the CC line is the CC9e. The “e†here stands for Essential Edition and Xiaomi claims it offers all the major function of the regular CC9 in a smaller form factor.
The cameras on the front and back are the same as the larger counterpart but the display is downscaled to 6 inches and 1560 x 720 px resolution. It retains the AMOLED technology and UD fingerprint sensor as well as the battery capacity.

Xiaomi Mi CC9e Price and Market Availability
One major difference is in the chipset department where the CC9e runs the brand new Snapdragon 665. This one is going to be available in 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB versions starting at CNY 1,299 ($189) and topping out at CNY 1,599 ($232).
