One UI was a major change in Samsung’s software design language. The latest user interface, which was launched alongside the Galaxy S9S9+ and Note9 way back in January, still offered all the functionality of the previous version but in a much more streamlined design.

According to recent reports, the second version of One UI is coming alongside Android Q and Samsung will pack all the latest enhancement that Google has in store.

What We Expect In One UI 2.0

One of the headlining features will be the Digital Wellbeing set with the new Focus Mode which essentially helps you control your app usage patterns by imposing usage limits.

The improved action specific permission controls, accent menu customization and an overhauled share menu are some of the other known Android Q novelties which will likely make their way to One UI 2.0.

In addition, the report claims that Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S series will ship with One UI 2.1 but there aren’t any details as to what that would bring in terms of features. With Android Q nearing its launch we should be hearing more about the next iteration of One UI soon.
