Huawei reportedly dragging the US government to court over the imposed ban
It seems Huawei can no longer bear the heat again. After a bagging series of bans across the globe, Huawei is now seeking for some justice in the US, the origin of the fiasco.
According to two separate sources, the Chinese giant will announce that it’s going to court with the US government by the end of the week.
Reportedly, the lawsuit will be filed in the Eastern District of Texas, where Huawei’s US headquarters is located. The lawsuit will be all about the US government banning the use of Huawei’s equipment for the 5G infrastructure and the use of company’s smartphones by US officials.
The USA insists that Huawei might be giving the Chinese government a backdoor. But since there is no solid evidence, for now, Huawei says that the government had no right to ban the use of Huawei’s equipment without a trial. The Constitution doesn’t allow Congress to pass such bills.
