In December last year, MTN finally join Airtel Nigeria and 9mobile by introducing the Facebook Autoflex service.
The Facebook Autoflex is a service that allows MTN customers access their Facebook accounts and Messenger for FREE (zero data balance) via mobile app or web browser within a daily Fair Usage Policy (FUP).
However, most MTN customers have been unable to switch from free Facebook Autoflex to paid mode after subscribing to data plans or vice versa. Well, the issue could either be as a result of the followings;
- Outdated Facebook lite
- Phone proxy settings having IP:10.199.212.2 and port 8080 on the APN configuration.
How To Move From MTN Free Facebook AutoFlex To Paid Mode Smoothly
In order to have a smooth experience while using the Facebook App with active data bundle, you should do the following;
- Update/download the most recent Facebook lite.
- Remove the proxy settings.
