Facebook seems to be working on bringing Instagram login as an option while logging in with apps and websites. Instagram has prototyped the “Main Account” feature that would allow you set one of your profiles as a primary account and then link your other accounts to it. Once you log into the main account, that means you have instantly logged into the rest, as well.

How Does It Work?

Accessing the main account would automatically allow instant access to others without the need to remember multiple user names and passwords, plus a simplified and more immediate access could lead people to switch accounts more frequently and interact more with the platform.

The accounts will remain separate but the login will be fast and simple, moreover anyone with the password of the main account will have access to the accounts connected to it.

At the moment, third-party apps use Instagram access to offer the ability to create posts and stories to share them on Instagram, but the company is working to expand the potential of the access platform that could become the heir of Facebook Login.

Accessing Multiple Instagram account

Many users who have stopped using Facebook still maintain a connection with the social network because they still rely on it to access the services.

The code of this function is present in the alpha version of the Instagram app for Android, but for now there is no information about when the functionality could become official.
