WhatsApp Reportedly Crashes Worldwide Except In Nigeria. Users Reacts
WhatsApp is currently trending on Twitter for a funny reason. Nigerians using the app have tweeted that they only found out WhatsApp crashed worldwide on Twitter, and they find this funny since it is perfectly working here in Naija.
This comes few hours after the messenger announced that it would be curbing the number of forwards for users worldwide, a policy which was already in place for India. It is an effort aimed at limiting hoaxes and rumours that lead to violence.
Nigerians who can be very funny, have made a joke out of the issue. Some said the country’s president deserves a second term since we didn’t experience any crash, another Twitter user says Nigeria might not even be part of the world. Read more comments and tell us what you think as the Mark Zuckerberg owned company is yet to release an official statement during the time of this post.
The App which has over 1.5 billion users, both on Android and iOS, were unable to log into their app late Tuesday.
This isn’t the first time WhatsApp users have had to face this kind of difficulty, as a similar issue occurred twice in 2017.
