According to a report from an Apple supplier, the American multinational technology company will be ditching the Lightning Cable for USB-C in upcoming iPhones.
Though work is allegedly going on already, the first iPhones to feature USB-C may not arrive till 2020.
Apple adopting USB-C has been in the grapevine for a while now. We did see USB-C introduced in the 2018 iPad Pro models, so it shouldn’t be far-fetched that the same will happen with the iPhone line-up.
Well, the question is when is the “death of the Lightning Cable”.
