Of course, anytime Apple wants to unveil its new iPhone, the rumour mills are always kept busy even months before the announcement. And this year’s own did not deviate from the tradition as well. There has been a lot of leaks and proposed names for the 3 new iPhone models of 2018, but pushing aside speculation and say welcome to the real world of iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr, and iPhone XS Max.

The smallest of the three is the Xs and it has a 5.8 inches display. As far as size is concerned, the iPhone Xr is next with a 6.1 inches screen, while the biggest of the musketeers is the Xs Max with a 6.5 inches screen.

iPhone Xs Specs

Starting with the iPhone Xs, specs sheet lists the phone as a 5.8-inch AMOLED screen, 4GB RAM, three internal storage options: 64GB, 256GB and 512GB, as well as colour options of Silver, Space Gray and Gold.

With a 6.1-inch screen, the iPhone Xr commands a 3GB RAM with optional internal storage of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, as well as a more diverse colour that includes Black, Red, Yellow, Blue, Coral. The iPhone Xr is the most affordable of the three and has an LCD display.

Last and certainly not the least is the giant 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max. It offers similar RAM, storage and colour options to the Xs. This is the most expensive model of the three and has an AMOLED display.

The three new iPhone models run iOS12 and comes with FaceID.

Dual-SIM support has been confirmed to be present on the iPhone Xr, which is an export model meant to take on dual-SIM Android competitors in emerging markets.

The official names of the three new 2018 iPhone models were first unveiled in a leak.

In conclusion, there are two “Xs” models with AMOLED screen and one more affordable, export model with LCD display and dual-SIM support.
