Google is adding a new feature to its Photos app. This new feature allows users to mark photos as favourites. The tech giant made this announcement through the service’s Twitter handle.

How To Mark A Photo As Favorited
To mark a photo as favourite,
- Open the photo in full screen mode.
- Tap the star icon present towards the top right.
And to take a look at all your favourite photos, go to the Albums tab.

Google says the feature is expected to start rolling out this week. Moving on, the company also announced users will soon also be able to heart photos shared with them.
