Different renders of Nokia 9 (2018) have continued to appear since last year and they are still coming. Earlier this month, and we shared some additional details about the phone that will most likely be Nokia’s best for this year. A 5.7-inch near bezel-less display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 is expected to be announced. We also told you that the device, which will be built by HMD Global under license from Nokia, will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 mobile platform.
Also, the Nokia 9 (2018) will allegedly feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The embedded biometric reader was revealed by a source out of China, categorised as “trusted,” which seconded the previous rumours. Currently, Vivo is the only manufacturer to introduce an in-screen fingerprint scanner on a handset, though other phone makers are said to be on the track too.
Also of interest to those who might consider the Nokia 9 (2018) as their next phone purchase, there is the possibility that the the display will come with an iPhone X-esque “notch.”
