Globacom, the self-acclaimed Nigeria’s Data Grandmasters, has rolled out an offer to make acquisition of Glo 4G MiFi irresistible to its subscribers.
The foremost telecommunications company said in a press statement in Lagos that it is giving out a bundle offer of the network’s mini router, Glo MiFi, with 16 gigabyte of data for just N16,000. This means that the MiFi is being given out practically free of charge, considering the worth of the free data bundle.
Glo 4G MiFi is able to beam internet signal over a wide expanse of space and can connect up to 15 devices, including Smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktops simultaneously.
Globacom said a subscriber gets the 16GB, spread over a 12 months period. A further advantage of the Glo 4G MiFi is the power of Glo’s 4G network backed up by Glo1, the company’s transatlantic submarine cable.
The company said the Glo MiFi data bundle offer is part of its latest campaign to give subscribers an ‘unfair advantage’ over their peers who use other networks.
Announcing a new price regime for its data packages recently, the company said it maintains the best data rates in the industry when compared with competition.
“Glo offers the most lucrative data plans thereby still maintaining superb advantage to its prospective and existing subscribers on both 3G and 4G,” the company said in the statement.
“We are ensuring that customers still enjoy the unfair advantage which gives them the privilege of browsing, chatting, streaming, downloading, uploading and lots more in the data space. These data plans are simply unbeatable,” Globacom said.
In the new data price regime, in addition to the base data bundle, which is already above market standards for every amount subscribed, all subscribers will also have an extra 25 percent as bonus for those who renew their data plans before expiration.
This means that for new subscribers and those who renew their plans before expiration, Subscribers who pay N4000 will get 12.5GB; N5,000 will get 15.6GB, while a N10,000 subscription will fetch a whopping 32.5GB. For N20,000, the subscriber will have as much as 78.75GB.
In addition to the unmatched data volumes, the data plans by Glo are the most comprehensive in the industry as all categories of subscribers have a wide category of plans to choose from, ranging from N25 to N20,000 bundle.
Customers will still enjoy free YouTube streaming between 1 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on data plans from N500 and above; while customers on data plans from N2,000 will have unlimited access to over 10,000 hours of movies from iFlix.
The company called for new customers to opt for Glo data and buy any plan of choice by dialing *777# or by visiting http://.hsi.glo.com .
The data plans are also available on e-top-up channels and Glo Café App. The network also urged existing customers to renew their data plans before expiration in order to continue to enjoy the unbeatable rates.
