The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has finally decided to reduce the stress Nigerians passed through in obtaining their permanent voters card by providing an online platform to check their voters’ registration status.
The process was re-started in April 27, 2017 by the commission in order to enable qualified persons to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs or request for permanent transfer for those who have changed their location. So for registered candidats who are yet to obtain your PVC, simply follow the below steps to check the availabilty status.

First off, if you yet to pen down your name for the voting exercise, just endeavour to stroll to a nearby center register, Check here to see the closest center to your location.
But if you have registered, follow the below steps to check the status of your Permanent Voters Card.
How to Check Your Voters Registration Status
- Go to http://voterreg.inecnigeria.org
- Fill the form to check your status which includes your Place of residence, Surname, VIN (last – 7 digit of your VIN)
- If you can’t recall your VIN, there is an option to use the day, month, and year of registration to verify one’s status.
Finally, if your details are not in the data base, go and register… It is your right.
