This post is going to show you how to change your selected language on the IVR (180) as an MTN customer. For MTN customers to speak with an agent, they will need to dial 180 and listens to the voice prompt for guide.

How To Change MTN 180 Default Language (English) To Other Languages
If your default language is English, you can change to any other language by using the following navigation codes.
- For changing from English to Hausa, simply type the navigation code 9-4-1-2.
- For changing from English to Yoruba, simply type the navigation code 9-4-1-3.
- For changing from English to Igbo, simply type the navigation code 9-4-1-4.
- For changing from English to Pidgin, simply type the navigation code 9-4-1-5.

Changing From Other Languages Back To English
For you to migrate back to English from other languages, you will dial 9-4-1-1 after dialling 180 and listening to the voice prompt.
Note
Please note that the navigation/type ahead codes above are to be entered after you hear the voice file of the previously entered code after which you can enter the next number in the code. For example, If you want to migrate from Igbo to English
Simply call 180, listens and dials 9 immediately the voice file plays (3-4 seconds), dials 4 (waits for 3-4 seconds), dials 1 (waits for 3-4 seconds) and dials 1.
