the Android Nougat update. The message was received from the company’s General
Manager of BlackBerry Mobility Solutions, Alex Thurber.
The reason given by Thurber was that the coming together of
all the partners involved in the whole process would be impossible.
Recall that the Blackberry Priv was launched way back in
November 2015. It came out of the box with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but was later
updated to Android Marshmallow back in April 2016. Though, the device has since
then be receiving security update and will continue as well.
