The three smartphones that have refused to let humans rest from speculations, most anticipated handsets in 2017, the Apple iPhone 8,the LG V30, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The Note 8 will be the first of the trio to be announced with its maker bringing out its mic on August 23 at its next Unpacked event.

The Samsung high-end phablet appears to be drawing some attentions in the sense of ‘what is Samsunggoing to bring this time around’, based on the last year’s Galaxy Note 7. Recall that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, was recalled twice and wiped away from shelves due to series of explosions that were caused by battery flaws, according to the Korean company.

Today, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was seen on Geekbench carrying the SM-N950F model number. The unit used in the test is an international variant which simply means that the Exynos 8895 chipset was employed.
In fact, during the testing the chipset’s octo-core CPU ran at a clock speed of 1.69GHz. U.S. models will feature the Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood. The Geekbench test also revealed that Samsung will place 6GB of RAM inside the device. Android 7.1.1 will be pre-installed.

The Galaxy Note 8 scored 1984 in the Geekbench single-core test, while the multi-core test resulted in a tally of 6116. Both of those scores are short of the numbers put up by an Exynos 8895 powered Samsung Galaxy S8 back in May. The latter scored 2121 and 7101 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
