One of the most anticipated smartphone, better still phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note8, has been on the pilot seat of leaks and rumors. Previous leaks disclosed few details attributed to Galaxy Note8 specs, such as dual rear camera setup, the amazing 6.3-inch Infinity Display and Android 7.1.1.
The latest leak in town now is the chipset that will be powering the almighty phablet. Reports says the smartphonw will be powered by Snapdragon 836 which has not even been announced. Wow!
According to report the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 chipset would be a slight upgrade to the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is the current mobile chipset flagship offered by Qualcomm.
Snapdragon 836 features an octa-core 2.5GHz processor, improvement on the SnapDragon 835’s 2.45 GHz. Another thing is that there will be a 740MHz GPU.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 would be the first device to land with thse SnapDragon 836, while the LG V30 could be the second and the second-generation Google Pixels to follow.
