Microsoft to launch foldable tablet according to latest patent images

Leaks emerged reveals that Microsoft have filed patents for a foldable tablet as seen in the schematics within the post. It was reveal that the device will have similar size of a smartphone rather than that of a slate.

As seen from the schematics in the post, the tablet has three configurations -at 0 degrees, it means the tablet is closed. At 180 degrees, the tablet is flat open, and at 360 degrees, it means the device fully open. The tablet is allowed to perform this function via a complex series of hinges.

The inner screen displays a single user interface at 180-degree configuration, while at other configurations, each screen will show its individual user interface. When using the 180 degree configuration, the application of magnets in the device allows the display to have a seamless view.

Rumour says the the foldable tablet runs on Windows 10. However it’s possible that the product dies before its arrival as similar foldable tablet in 2009 featured by Microsoft never saw the light of the day. Watch the video below to see the beauty of tech from Microsoft.
