The beautiful Samsung Galaxy S8, which was launched on April 21, 2017 has been reportedly hit the 5 million global sales milestone.

This revelation was made by the South Korean tech titan on May 15.
The Galaxy S8 slammed the previous pre-order records for Samsung for other models. Galaxy S8 smartphone has been very well received in the market despite the Galaxy Note 7 disaster which many thought could to negatively affect the current company’s flagship sales.
Samsung announced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29 and released both handsets to some selected markets on April 21. And since then, more markets worldwide have started getting theirs.
In less than 30 days of release, according to Samsung, the Galaxy S8 has crossed more than 5 million units globally.
A samsung official said “Although we cannot provide detailed figures, the sales are going smoothly around the globe.
“The combined sales already are beyond 5 million units.”
The South Korean tech gaint also disclosed that it will continue to release the Galaxy S8 in more markets worldwide in the coming weeks. Its target is touch 120 countries, which includes China before the close of this month.
Analysts believes Samsung would sell up to 20 million Galaxy S8 units by the end of the second quarter and 60 million units after a year. This would be a new record for South Korean Company.
