In April 11, 2017, Instagram announced the launch of Instagram Direct, a feature that enable users to send threaded messages to individuals or groups. And ever since the, users’ delight experience has been the major target by the developers.
As part of the determination of the developers in continuation of enhancing Instagram handlers’ experience, a new version of Instagram has been made available for download via App Store for iOS users and Google Play for Android users.
The latest update comes with a couple of new features and for those who already have it installed on their device, below are the latest features incorporated in it.
First is the support of landscape and portraits orientations by Instagram Direct. If a permanent image or video is sent to someone, via Direct from the camera roll, there won’t be any need to crop the item again.
Secondly, Instagram handlers can now share links, that is websites among themselves, which can be preview directly in the conversation. As the support for links in Direct, users can also share phone numbers and addresses.
However, iOS device owners with Instagram, version 10.22 installed on them can enjoy the new landscape and portrait images in Direct. Android users will have to be patient for sometimes. Meanwhile, the links in Direct feature is available for both mobile operating softwares.
