Manchester City’s incredible 5-3 win over visiting Monaco in
the UEFA Champions League yesterday, Tuesday, February, 21, brought an amazing smile
to the face their manager, Pep Guardiola.
City had to work their socks off by coming back twice in the
encounter before recording a great victory at the Etihad stadium.
Guardiola admitted that his boys were amazing in the game,
but expressed concern over the outcome of the second leg in France.
Guardiola said, “A
lot of things happened but in the moment we were lucky. We were stable
mentally. The old and young guys in the team played amazing.

“To live this
experience helps us a lot in the future.

“Monaco have more
history than us in the competition and you need this kind of experience to
learn and improve.

“Of course
anything can happen in Monaco and we have to score goals.”

Manchester City now need to avoid a 2-0 defeat in Monaco in
the return leg for them to qualify for the next stage which is the quarter
final.
